I have known Kevin since middle school and I was so excited when he asked me to take some engagement photos for him and his wife-to-be, Mary.  I must say, I have never seen my best friend so happy and in love; Kevin is a very fun guy but Mary truly brought out his joyful side! As with most couples, they started out a bit camera-shy, but then got comfortable rather quickly.  They are such a smart, fun loving and adorable couple and I wish them both the best these days leading up to their big day as they plan for their journey in this world together.

Congratulations to Helen, soon to be a mother once again!  She was surprised with a baby shower thinking she was coming out to a casual Sunday afternoon birthday gathering at the Waterfront Beach Resort Hotel in Huntington Beach, CA.  Little did she know that she would be surrounded by all her close friends and family to celebrate the joy of expecting a baby girl!  Tears of happiness and joy came pouring down her face!  I love surprises!  And I am so blessed to be able to witness and capture such moments that will never be forgotten!  Check out the images and share your thoughts!

Hello friends! Happy New Year! I know it’s been a while since I’ve posted on my blog. I have been working hard to discover who I am as a photographer and my “style”. In the next couple of months, I hope to be revamping my blog and finally having a website to show my fine art wedding photography.  This is an exciting time and I hope you will continue to follow my blog.

It was just a perfect wedding day at the Long Beach Museum of Art in Long Beach, CA … breathtaking views, lovely details, gorgeous venue, delicious food, and a beautiful couple! Kim and Parker taught at the same school and fell in love 3 years ago!

ONE YEAR WEDDING ANNIVERSARY :: NORMA + TOM

I was asked to do a photo session for a one year wedding anniversary and I just thought to myself …what a sweet idea!  Who says you can only do engagement portraits?! Norma and Tom chose San Juan Capistrano Los Rios District as the special location. I willingly agreed because I love the history behind the district and there’s so many cool photo ops there!  Near the end of the shoot, a Cracker Jack sign at the restaurant caught my eye and got my creative juice going. AWESOME!
